DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

Answer:

All Newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home. I want your experience to be easy and as relaxing as possible. I only use natural lighting, so anywhere by a large unobstructed window is perfect.

Question:

WHAT DOES THE PACKAGE PRICING COVER?

Answer:

Package prices include your professionally processed digital images, travel, and guidance on your session. A personal online gallery with 20-30+ beautiful images to choose from. All packages include photos with parents, up to 2 siblings, and your furbabies!

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Answer:

Keep it simple! I suggest you go with a simple colour scheme and try to stay away from logos, bold patterns. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable in. If you are unsure of how to pull it all together, Pinterest is a great source of inspiration.

Question:

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE DIGITAL FILES?

Answer:

After our session, I will send you a private link to your gallery on Pixieset where you can view all of your images and pick your favourites. You'll receive your favourite images as High Resolution and Low-Resolution jpg's. Low Resolution, makes it easy for you to email and share on social media. All packages also include the printing rights to your images. I always recommend printing your precious images at a professional lab like Miller's (California) or Atkins Lab (Australia), I have been using them for 10 years and can’t praise them highly enough.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A MATERNITY SESSION?

Answer:

The ideal time for your maternity session is between 34-36 weeks when your bump is cute and round, yet you're still comfortable to move!!

WHERE DO YOU TAKE THE MATERNITY PHOTOS? 

Answer:

You can either have your photos taken at your home or on location. A park or beach are always two great options, but I’m always up for scouting new locations.

Question:

WHAT DO I WEAR TO A MATERNITY SHOOT?

Answer:

Anything that will show off your gorgeous baby bump.  A beautiful flowing dress, jeans, an over-sized button-down shirt, and lingerie are all great options. We can catch up and discuss styling options prior to your session if you like. Also, try to avoid wearing anything too tight that will leaves marks and indents on your skin. Have a look at some examples here to get some ideas.

WHAT AGE IS BEST TO TAKE NEWBORN PHOTOS?

Answer:

Newborn sessions are held between 6-10 days old. This is when newborns are usually sleepier and more co-operative. Each day counts!!!

Question:

WHAT IF MY BABY'S OLDER THAN 10 DAYS?

Answer:

I always recommend having your newborn session before 10 days old. After two weeks old your baby is much more aware of their surroundings. We can still get similar images as if they are only 6 days, but please be aware it will take longer and require more settling and feeding.

HOW LONG DOES THE NEWBORN SESSION TAKE?

Answer:

Newborn sessions usually last up to 3-4 hours, allowing time for feeding, settling, and a variety of poses and setups. Each newborn is very different. At the beginning of your session, it may take your baby 10 minutes to settle, or it may take an hour. Don't stress if they don't settle straight away. After you make a booking I will send you some ‘pre-session’ information. My aim is to have you feeling completely relaxed and enjoy every moment of your session without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
